The History of Science Society is looking for Washington, DC-based volunteers

If you will be in the Washington, DC area in April, there’s a fun and valuable volunteer opportunity.

The History of Science Society is seeking volunteers to help at its booth at the Science and Engineering Festival in Washington, D.C. on April 28-29. The festival’s mission is to:

re-invigorate the interest of our nation’s youth in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) by producing and presenting the most compelling, exciting, educational and entertaining science festival in the United States.

The MythBusters, Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman, are among this year’s festival performers!

If you would like to help the History of Science Society kindle kids’ excitement for science, please contact Greg Macklem at greg@hssonline.org for more information.
